Harbour Lights Crooked River, Florida

Before the Civil War, river commerce for cotton was essential to the South and lighthouses were needed to aid maritime traffic. Several brick beacons had been built in the Crooked River area of Florida's panhandle, but all had been flattened by hurricanes. Finally in 1895, a 103-foot tall skeletal iron tower was erected and still stands today at the mouth of the Carrabelle River, thanks to the preservation efforts of local lighthouse enthusiasts. Harbour Lights Collectible Replica in a Limited Edition of 1,200 pieces. 5"W x 5"D x 6 1/4"H.
